"Ermina will be a perfect addition to our Board of Trustees because of her background and alumni experience. She is a strong advocate of the three "A's" that are most vital to our University: Academics, Athletics, and Activities. She knows that these are the three things we need to move our University forward. I know she has the knowledge, intellect, and all the skills necessary to make her a perfect Alumni Representative on our Board."

Philadelphia Chapter, CAUAA, President 1988-2009
Corresponding Secretary, Historian
"2010 was my first contact with Clarkites from just about every year beginning in the early 1970's. I fell in love with the class of 1983. It is possible that we attended May Weekend and Homecoming at the same time for years and our paths never crossed. Facebook brought me face-to-face with the most amazing Clarkites.. Ermina Hill was a member of the 3's and I happily joined the 30th year Celebration. The most heartwarming was the MRTC MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT FUND established in 2004 by the Carnegie Family. My Philadelphia CAUAA Chapter established the Fannie Bakon Endowment Fund (one of four). Building the CAU ENDOWMENT is paramount. Ermina Hill will champion this initiative."

I"I am writing in support of the candidacy of Ms. Ermina Hill to fill the vacancy of Alumni
Representative to the Board of Trustees. I have known Ms. Hill from the time she matriculated as a student at Clark College. Ms. Hill is a loyal and dedicated alumna and a member of the CC Class of 1983. Since graduating, she has been a loyal and supportive alumna, working in several capacities in the Alumni Association.
I served as an officer while she served as President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Alumni Association. She is an innovative leader and a forward thinker. She has the capacity to continue the working relationship between the Alumni Association and the Board of Trustees, as well as between the Alumni and the University. It is with pleasure and confidence that I recommend Ms. Hill to fill the vacancy of Alumni Representative to the Board of Trustees."

"Ermina Hill lives the Panther Spirit with her commitment to Clark Atlanta University. If she is not recruiting new members for the Alumni Association, she is fundraising for the University. Ermina would be an excellent Alumni Representative to the CAU Board of Trustees."

Jane Ross Mosley, CC '80
Member, Atlanta Chapter, CAUAA; National Alumni Association, Clark Atlanta Athletics Booster Association , Panther 300 Club, CAU Guild
"I have known Ermina for over 30 years from when she first joined our beloved Sorority - Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. at then Clark College. Even then, she was involved in various activities and also serving in various capacities (Lower Judiciary, Chapter Basileus, Majorette) on the campus. I watched Ermina grow and mature into the bright and intelligent young lady she has become today. After graduation, she remained involved with Clark on some level and her commitment to see Clark thrive has always been in the forefront of her mind.
I told Ermina that she reminded me of my mother (Ida Wolfe Ross) and aunt (Nellie Wolfe Gaylord) who were two committed individuals that always gave their time, talents and financial resources to Clark. To watch her in action has made me so proud of her. She is all about serious business and will do whatever it takes to ensure the needs of Clark are met. It is my pleasure to wholeheartedly support my friend and Soror to become a trusted Alumni Representative to the Board of Trustees.."

Rev. Dr. Byron Thomas, Sr. (Former Sr. Pastor)
Ben Hill United Methodist Church, Atlanta
"I serve as the Senior Pastor of Ben Hill United Methodist Church. I met Ermina in 1989 when I came to Ben Hill to serve as the Youth Pastor. Ermina is very passionate and committed to any ministry she has served on at Ben Hill United Methodist Church and currently serving on at Ben Hill United Methodist Church.
If you are looking for a spiritual and effective leader, look no further. I highly recommend Ermina Hill to be the Alumni Representative for Clark Atlanta University Board of Trustees." (2017)

Harold Scott, PhD, CC '83
Past President, Washington, DC Metro Chapter, CAUAA
CAU Representative, Washington, DC Metro HBCU Alliance
"There are generally two types of alumni, the Homecoming Tailgate types and the "Ride or Die". The "Homecoming Alumni" always have a full cup at the tailgate, but dust in the pockets when it comes time to raise funds. "Ride or Die" are usually behind the deep fryer ducking hot splatter at the Scholarship Fish Fry, they are there on Wednesday evening packing snacks in freshmen goodie bags, and calling you up Monday to register for the Sunday alumni run.
Ermina has been a "Ride or Die" Clarkite for almost 40 years. Her passion for the Institution has few rivals, which would make an excellent alumni voice on the Board of Trustees. Besides, I think the Board should experience the occasional “Ermina moment” . Y’all know what I mean. Give the Board a moment… Vote Ms. Hill."
